@QOTD, Because of some of the pictures on this site and what Beth and others have said about New Zealand, that's at the top of my list, but I really want to go to Ireland, Scotland, and Germany... In no particular order.
@POTD, Great pic, reminds me of some of the Ozarks' falls!

@Wendy - i think that environmentalists only see a bottom line rather than the fact that things have to go hand in hand with something else to actually work (compromising)...maybe more stringent practices and enforcement at the game commission level that eliminate the wannabee hunters and fishers that ruin the activities for the true sportsman - how many people really try to hunt or fish while respecting nature?

@John - wow, would love to go anywhere at this point - need to establish a regular program for myself - just don't have the resources other than scouting...

@QOTD There are lots of places I'd love to visit, things I'd like to do, but I'm kind of limited because my husband is a quadriplegic. My big dream is Italy, especially Sicily. But for now, I'm happy with traveling around the states. And "visiting" places that are inaccessible to us through these great pictures.

Check out the above story about efforts to limit or even eliminate fishing. Those of us who are recreational anglers need to speak up and make our voices heard. So many times it's the overly-vocal environmental organizations that get things pushed through Congress that are actually detrimental to the environment in the long run. Don't get me wrong -- I'm a proponent of taking care of the earth. The difference is I'm a conservationist, not an environmentalist. If activities like hunting & fishing are banned, the result will be that wildlife suffers. While nature will take its course in population control, that course is often in the way of starvation and/or disease. Just my two cents on the issue. Y'all's thoughts?

@Alison Morning (or afternoon!), Alison! (& Charlie, Beth, Judy, John [both of you!], Sondra, & Scott!) It's a lovely day in So. Texas, Startlikers! :)

@John- Hiking the Chilkoot Trail has just jumped to the top of my list. Will be doing it this August. And me and my better half are talking about visiting India next year.

@QOTD - Like Alison, the whole US is on my bucket list, LOL, in particular HI, the Deep South, WY, MT, & the NE (Vermont, NH, etc.). Australia has always been high on my list, but I recently saw a program on PBS about New Zealand, so I added that one. It should be pretty easy to see if I ever make it to Australia. :)
@POTD - That's a cool waterfall -- it looks like it just appears outta nowhere! :) Check out the little one in the lower right corner.

@QOTD - My bucket is full for sure but I just added Malaysia. Kuala lumpur just looks like a cool place to see.
@Charlie - I was always told it was the positive ions. So is it the negative ions and I have been mislead all these years? Time to google I think...

@QOTD - I think my list has been growing but right now the number one places on my list are France and Yellowstone. Believe it or not I've never been to Yellowstone, but will most likely be going in the next couple of years.

What a great shot! Good morning everyone!

This photo must be in the Big Sur central California coast region. Pretty.
I like my falls in the NW, so won't be making an extra trip to Cali to see this one.

Nice shot. Right now I keep thinking about going to Costa Rica or Chile.
Britt Garrett said: (Mar 10, 2010 @ 06:30am)
Wow, I could spend some time sitting next to that waterfall right about now.
@QOTD I have quite the bucket list already, but a friend of mine is living in Australia right now and she keeps telling me I would absolutely love it. I would really like to get out there!

@ QOTD- quick one while getting ready for work... #1 on my bucket list is South Africa, but thats been there for years. I guess you could say that anywhere and everywhere in America is new on my bucket list. I want to see all of this country, and new places to go pop up all the time. I'm slowly getting around this country, but I'm privileged to at least say I'm getting there!

This is a great shot! Where is Salmon Creek?
Charlie Harrison said: (Mar 10, 2010 @ 05:15am)
Good morning :) John its the negative ions near the water.
@QOTD Kim and I have never been to Europe and we've been hosting exchange students from Hungary and Germany so we have free lodging there. We hope to take advantage of that after the rest of the kids go away. My cousin canoed in Germany and sent us pictures last year. Sounds like fun to me... so it's all added to our bucket list.

QOTD Wow, been a long time since I did one of these. Nice easy one to get me going again. Anyone have a new bucket trip destination? I know I watched a movie on climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and I am really wanting to at least go see it.

Nice shot. Love water, just makes me feel calm to be around it.
